House Of The Dragon Season 2 Premiere Breakdown Reveals Return To Familiar Places

The first season of House of the Dragon didn't revisit too many of the iconic locations from Game of Thrones, since most of the story took place in King's Landing. But with the full-scale Targaryen civil war in House of the Dragon Season 2, a pair of key locations made their return in the season premiere. Now, in new behind-the-scenes videos from HBO, the creative team behind House of the Dragon is sharing their thoughts about revisiting the past.

The Season 2 premiere doesn't waste any time before bringing fans back to the North for a glimpse of Winterfell and a look beyond the Wall with the Night's Watch. Fittingly, the episode was directed by Alan Taylor, who helmed several memorable episodes of the original series.
