Loki Episode 5 Features A Blink And You'll Miss It Throg Cameo

Loki Episode 5 Features A Blink And You'll Miss It Throg Cameo

While the Loki-filled Episode 5 of Loki focused a heck of a lot on the God of Mischief's variants, there was an appearance of Thor in the episode. No, it wasn't Chris Hemsworth wearing the costume, it was a frog. Warning: Some real minor spoilers coming up for Episode 5 of Loki. During the scene where the titular Loki was heading down to a secret bunker with Kid Loki, Old Loki, Boastful Loki, and Alligator Loki, there was a brief moment where we saw Mjolnir buried in the dirt. Right next to that was a creature in a glass jar hopping around trying to get it. However, it's in a glass jar, so there's no escape. That creature is none other than Frog Thor or Throg.Continue Reading at GameSpot

Valorant 3.01 Patch Notes: Many Bugs Squashed

Valorant 3.01 Patch Notes: Many Bugs Squashed

Valorant's 3.01 update is live on all platforms, and it makes some minor shifts to the game in the wake of the major changes that the game's 3.0 patch brought forth. In particular, it fixes a nasty bug that allowed Sage to place Barrier Orbs on projectiles in the air, as well as some unintended use cases across the board. The patch also fixes a bug that allowed Skye to activate her Guiding Light flash while suppressed, as well as the ability to heal KAY/0 while he's downed as part of his NULL/CMD ultimate. Also, some griefers were apparently exploiting the chat color options to impersonate system messages, so that's been fixed as well. Valorant patch 3.0 made a number of wide-ranging changes to the game, including changing how fast signature abilities charge and revamping the cost of most abilities in the game. It also reconfigured the accuracy of all weapons while walking and running, as well as changing the cost of many of those weapons.Continue Reading at GameSpot

Fortnite: Where To Place Welcome Gifts in Holly Hatchery - Week 5 Legendary Quest

Fortnite: Where To Place Welcome Gifts in Holly Hatchery - Week 5 Legendary Quest

In Fortnite Season 7 Week 5, players will need to place welcome gifts in Holly Hatchery. That's the new name of Holly Hedges, and one visit to the location will explain the revision: it's been taken over by aliens. A massive prismatic cube now engulfs the center of the locale, and dataminers say it will get bigger as the season goes on, bringing new low-gravity mechanics to the island. But for now, let's focus on those Fortnite welcome gift locations and earn you 30,000 XP. This challenge will go live on Wednesday, July 7, at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET. Holly Hatchery Welcome Gifts Instructed by Sunny to once more greet the aliens with open arms--or is it another of Slone's infiltration missions?-- you'll need to head to Holly Hatchery and place two welcome gifts to complete this Legendary Quest. Thankfully, the named location offers seven spots to do so, so it's a pretty quick completion if you can survive the big crowds of sightseeing opponents likely to land there this week. Here are all seven welcome gift locations in Holly Hatchery: * Below the tree in the northwest * In the gated garden to the north * Next to the doghouse at the house to the northeast * At the back door of the westernmost house * At the front door of the same house * At the chainlink fence at the store in the middle * At the back door of the southern house There are seven welcome gift locations, but you'll only need two of them. Interacting with any two of them will complete this Legendary Quest and earn you another 30,000 XP toward your Season 7 Battle Pass, which will also give you Battle Stars that you can spend to unlock new cosmetics right away, or set them aside for when Superman arrives in a few weeks. If you're going for this challenge, it means you've already completed the previous challenge to interact with a CB radio.Continue Reading at GameSpot

Impressive-Looking TIE Fighter Total Conversion Mod Is Out Now

Impressive-Looking TIE Fighter Total Conversion Mod Is Out Now

With no sign of an official remake after decades, the classic Star Wars: TIE Fighter has been remade by fans as a total conversion mod with an impressive scope. While the game it builds on, X-Wing Alliance, is also pretty old, it makes use of an existing X-Wing Alliance mod that provides impressive visual updates. Star Wars: TIE Fighter was the first ever Star Wars game that was played from the villain's side, and while many games have since included playable Sith characters and Dark Side routes, not many have followed a rank-and-file member of the Galactic Empire like TIE Fighter did. Fans of the original concept have been working hard to modernise the 1994 original in the form of a total conversion mod for 1999's X-Wing Alliance--while also making use of the X-Wing Alliance Upgrade, a massive fan project that has seen the decades-old game upgraded in both content and quality.Continue Reading at GameSpot
