The Hogwarts Legacy Summer Update Is Available Now, Adds Photo Mode

Avalanche Software's wizarding world RPG, Hogwarts Legacy, just received its summer update, which features a plethora of new features, from new cosmetics and broomsticks to the expansion of a quest that makes it available to players on all platforms.

Another aspect of the update that players are likely to be pleased with is the addition of a new photo mode that allows players to photograph their extracurricular magical exploits and provides a number of character poses and other options to make it easier to capture a picture-perfect moment.

The update also includes a series of new character cosmetics and new brooms, allowing players to zoom around the Hogwarts campus in style. Disney World And Florida Closing In On A New Deal For Fifth Theme Park

Walt Disney World Resort in Florida is not exactly hurting for attractions between its four theme parks spread across 39 square miles. But with Disney's top competitor, Universal Studios Orlando, set to open an expansion with Epic Universe next year, Disney World and the state of Florida have a tentative agreement that would add a fifth theme park to the resort.

Via Deadline, the agreement between Disney and Florida calls for $17 billion in investment from Disney over "the next 10 to 20 years" in exchange for a development deal that provides "assurances and guardrails" from the state. The agreement is part of Disney Parks' plans to invest $60 billion in its theme park resorts around the world.

According to the report, one more vote will take place next week before the deal with Flordia is finalized. The agreement also stipulates that Disney has to put down at least $8 billion dollars within the first 10 years of the agreement. Lego Horizon Game Reportedly Set For PS5 And PC, Getting Summer Game Fest Reveal

A Lego Horizon game, called Lego Horizon Adventures, is reportedly going to be announced during Summer Game Fest.

According to Dealabs, the game is an action-adventure one and will be released simultaneously on PS5 and PC. It also reportedly supports co-op as well as cross-platform play between both platforms. For the PC version of the game, it will apparently require a PSN account to access, something that players have taken issue with in the past, especially with Helldivers 2. However, it seems like Sony is still moving forward with the requirement for future releases on PC.

The Thing Remaster Seemingly Teased By Nightdive Studios

A thing could be announced at IGN Live tomorrow, June 7. In fact, it could be a remaster of The Thing, a 2002 action-adventure game based on John Carpenter's classic 1982 film.

Nightdive Studios--the developer behind game remasters ranging from franchises like Turok to Star Wars--teased on X (formerly known as Twitter) that it will reveal its next game this coming Friday at the IGN show. The image on the social media post looks identical to the background of The Thing's box art from the early 2000s, only in a different color from the original blue.

The Thing isn't a retelling of the 1982 movie, which starred Kurt Russell, but instead picks up after the film. GameSpot's The Thing review was positive at the time, but notes "it could have been great" and specifically calls out "a wonky control scheme." The Acolyte's Star And Creator Were Surprised The Twist Didn't Leak

In 2019, the first episode of The Mandalorian surprised Star Wars fans with the reveal of Grogu, who was immediately dubbed "Baby Yoda" among fandom. This week, The Acolyte carried on that tradition by launching with a surprise twist that was successfully kept quiet ahead of the show's two-episode premiere. And no one is more shocked that the secret remained intact than The Acolyte creator Leslye Headland and the star of the series, Amandla Stenberg.

First Clip From The Boys Season 4 Is A Family Reunion With A Smash Mouth Connection

Prime Video has released the first clip from The Boys Season 4 ahead of its official debut next week, and it's a family reunion of sorts. This clip has spoilers for the previous seasons of the show, so only read on if you're caught up or don't care.

In the clip, we see Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) reuniting with Ryan (Cameron Crovetti), his late wife's son and the progeny of Homelander (Antony Starr). It's a tense sequence in which Billy urges Ryan to abandon Homelander and come with him to safety.

Homelander then enters the scene and informs Ryan of Billy's condition and that he doesn't have much longer to live. Ryan eventually opts to leave with Homelander, though he doesn't seem entirely happy about it. But he goes anyway, in part because Homelander has to get to a Smash Mouth concert. New Game From Former GTA Boss Will Be Introduced Via An Upcoming Audio Series

Absurd Ventures, the studio created by former GTA boss Dan Houser, has announced that its upcoming video game universe, A Better Paradise, will kick off with an audio series that's scheduled to release on June 10 on all major podcast platforms.

The upcoming audio series, written and created by Houser, will be called "A Better Paradise: Volume One: An Aftermath" and will consist of 12 episodes. It will feature various actors, such as Andrew Lincoln from The Walking Dead, Shamier Anderson from John Wick: Chapter 4, and Rain Spencer, who starred in The Summer I Turned Pretty.
