Fallout's Jonathan Nolan Says Aaron Paul Is A Big Fan Of The Show, Could He Be In Season 2?

Fallout TV show executive producer Jonathan Nolan has said "so many people" have reached out about the TV series, including actor Aaron Paul. Asked by IGN if any of his famous celebrity friends reached out to him after Fallout debuted and asked if they could be in Season 2, Nolan mentioned Paul.

"Aaron Paul was at the premiere, a human being I love so much. And he was very polite. He was very enthusiastic about the show. There was sort of an unspoken kind of like, 'What's up, man?' But we've been hearing from so many people, and it's kind of fun to see the Fallout fans come out of the woodwork," Nolan said. "People you've known a long time and you realize, 'Oh, you've been playing this whole time.' So it's been a lot of fun."

Family Guy Creator Discusses Franchise's 25-Year Legacy And If The Show Will Ever End

The animated series Family Guy debuted in 1999, meaning it celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. But would creator Seth MacFarlane ever consider wrapping it up and moving on? Speaking to The Los Angeles Times, MacFarlane--who is no longer working directly on the show--said he has no plans to call it quits.

"At this point, I don't see a good reason to stop. People still love it. It makes people happy and it funds some good causes," he said. "It's a lot of extraneous cash that you can donate to Rainforest Trust and you can still go out to dinner that night."

GTA 6 Parent Company To Cancel Games And Lay Off 5% Of Staff

After saying earlier this year that its impending cost reduction program wouldn't include layoffs, GTA parent company Take-Two has revealed that it will be cutting its workforce by approximately 5% throughout this year. The company also said it would be cancelling some unspecified projects as part of the cost reductions.

According to a filing with the United States SEC, the Take-Two board of directors has just approved its cost reduction plan. The plan will focus on "eliminating several projects in development and streamlining its organizational structure, which will eliminate headcount and reduce future hiring needs."

Take-Two estimates that enacting the plan will cost it around $160 to $200 million, with costs relating to title cancellations, employee severance, and reductions in the company's office space. Assassin's Creed Mirage Free Trial Is Out Now And On Sale

A free trial for the 2023 game Assassin's Creed Mirage is available now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. The trial is also available for PC through the Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games Store, but not Steam, where the game was never released.

The trial allows users to play the first two hours of Mirage, and all progression carries forward for people who buy the game outright. The game supports cross-platform cloud saves, so people can play the trial on one platform and buy the game outright on a different one, and their saves will be intact.

CoD: Warzone And MW3 Patch Notes Detail MORS Optic Fix And More Guns For MP Ranked Play

The latest Call of Duty update arrived to Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone on April 16. The patch notes include weapon balancing across both games, and multiplayer's Ranked Play mode gets new weapon options for a limited time.

On the multiplayer side, the MTZ-556 assault rifle received a 6% buff to bullet velocity, and the Holger 556 now has adjusted recoil and gun kick to allow for a more predictable recoil pattern. The popular RAM-9 submachine gun was nerfed with a 10% decrease to the minimum and maximum hip-fire accuracy, and the aim-down-sight time was increased by 10% as well.

Fallout Games See A Massive Player Boost After Show's Release

Amazon Prime Video's Fallout TV show has re-ignited fans' interest in the series, with player-numbers for Fallout 4, Fallout 76, and even Fallout: New Vegas showing a massive increase since the series premiered on April 10.

Industry analyst Mat Piscatella shared the game stats on Twitter, showing how multiple Fallout games had shot up in Steam's daily active user rankings between April 7 and April 14--before and after the show aired. Fallout 4 moved up from 63rd to fourth, Fallout 76 moved from 54th to seventh, and even Fallout: New Vegas was up there, from 83rd to 10th place.
