Today marked the first-ever NetherRealm Studios Kombat Kast for Mortal Kombat 1. The livestream kicked off with a trailer focusing on the franchise's iconic ninja clan, the Lin Kuei, while revealing new playable and Kameo characters.
The trailer revealed two more ninjas--Smoke and Rain--for the playable roster, with both showing off multiple moves throughout the trailer. Rain has become the High Mage of Outworld, while Smoke joins Sub-Zero and Scorpion in defending Earthrealm.
Four new Kameo characters were also confirmed in the new trailer, with robotic ninjas Cyrax and Sektor the most heavily featured. Female ninja Frost, as well as a classic version of Scorpion, also briefly appeared.Continue Reading at GameSpot
