Actor Tom Holland has revealed in a new GQ interview that Spider-Man: No Way Home was being rewritten while shooting.
"You could ask the director [Jon Watts], 'What happens in act three?'" said Holland. "His response would be, 'I'm still trying to figure it out'." Holland then further elaborated--though offered few details--about a "crescendo scene" that "wasn't working." Holland and Watts sidebarred and agreed the scene "was wrong." The pair "sat down...and we came up with a new idea."
Although fans have been lighting up social media with concern over this detail, the reality is scripts frequently change from initial development all the way up to post-production. It doesn't necessarily mean anything one way or the other ultimately for the story or how the film might land with critics. Either way, fans won't have to wait much longer to see the movie and decide for themselves--Spider-Man: No Way Home premieres in theaters on December 17.Continue Reading at GameSpot
