Amid controversy surrounding his lack of involvement in the new Jackass movie, Bam Margera has officially filed a lawsuit against the movie's producers and star Johnny Knoxville. The suit, which also names Jackass co-creator Spike Jonze, alleges that he was wrongfully terminated from the upcoming fourth movie, Jackass Forever. Variety has the story and all the details.
Margera starred in the previous Jackass movies and TV shows. He was let go from Jackass Forever last year after he supposedly violated his "wellness agreement" after he tested positive for Adderall.
The lawsuit alleges that Knoxville, Jonze, and director Jeffrey Tremaine pressured Margera to sign the agreement while he was in rehab in 2019 and that he didn't have the chance to have a lawyer look it over. The lawsuit mentions that Margera's agreement with the production company behind Jackass Forever required regular drug and alcohol tests.
