New Jurassic World Movie Gets Warning From Thai Government About Filming

Jurassic World fans only have a year until the newest addition to the Jurassic franchise arrives in theaters. The new installment will act as a reboot of the series, featuring three teens and three adults trying to survive the island, and star Oscar winner Mahershala Ali, Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Rupert Friend, and Luna Blaise.

The movie is set to shoot in Thailand as well as studios in Malta and the United Kingdom, with the filming in Thailand scheduled to start this week and run through mid-July. Locations across the country include Bangkok, Trang, Phang Nga, Phuket and Chiang Mai. Additionally, the Huai To Waterfall, within the Khao Phanom Bencha National Park.

Thailand's Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife and Plant Conservation director-general, Atthaphon Charoenchansa said Thailand was "honored" to host the filming, but warned about the the need to not disrupt the natural environment.Continue Reading at GameSpot
