Joel and Ellie appear to cover a lot of ground between the fifth and sixth episodes of The Last of Us. The newest trailer for the HBO series shows the pair rolling into a snow-covered Jackson, Wyoming, settlement, which sits over 1,000 miles west of Kansas City. Warning: Spoilers ahead.
The teaser begins with Ellie revealing to Joel that she tried to save Sam's life by using her blood on his infection spot. But as is obvious now, he replies that the cure is going to be more complicated than a simple transfusion. This exchange also highlights the grief Ellie feels after losing another person close to them.
Afterward, the video cuts to the duo on horseback, riding into the Wyoming settlement, where Joel seemingly finds his brother quickly. The happy reunion doesn't last, though, as Tommy shows remorse for the murders they committed in the past.Continue Reading at GameSpot
