WWE announced Tuesday that Paul "Triple H" Levesque, who assumed the reins of the company's creative responsibilities after the resignation of longtime Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon, has been promoted to chief content officer.
Per the press release with the announcement, WWE stated that their flagship Monday Night Raw viewership has jumped 15 percent since Triple H took over on July 25. WWE has also reportedly seen "double-digit increases in social media engagement," according to the release.
"WWE is one of the most prolific producers of premium content in the world and I look forward to this amazing opportunity," said Levesque in a statement.
