If you're a fan of anime and also a fan of chainsaws, today is an important day for you. Crunchyroll has announced it has acquired the streaming rights to Tatsuki Fujimoto's Chainsaw Man, and in celebration with that announcement, there's a localized trailer for the show.
The first trailer for the anime launched during the summer of 2021, but the video you'll see below is the first one in English. There's no official launch date for the upcoming series, but it will arrive later this year and be simulcast from Japan on Crunchyroll, subtitled and dubbed. If the title alone sounds out there to you, it gets weirder. The manga follows a teenager named Denji who lives with Pochita, a Chainsaw Devil. Denji is left with an enormous debt because of his father, and to pay it back, Denji works with Pochita to harvest devil corpses.
