HBO's The Last of Us TV series will not be released this year. HBO content boss Casey Bloys said during an interview with Deadline that he expects the show to premiere in 2023.
"It's not going to air in 2022; they are still shooting in Canada. I imagine you will see it in '23," Bloys said. "I have seen some early episodes and I'm very excited."
The series is written in part by Craig Mazin, who wrote HBO's acclaimed Chernobyl miniseries. Bloys said Mazin is a "fantastic writer and director," noting that what Bloys has seen so far of The Last of Us "looks amazing."Continue Reading at GameSpot
