Get A Fresh Look At The New Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air With First Trailer

Three years ago, filmmaker Morgan Cooper made a short fan trailer for a contemporary look at Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The trailer caught Will Smith's attention who announced he was going to take that concept and actually go through with a remake. Now finally, we have our first official look at Peacock's Bel-Air, hitting the streaming service on February 13. "Three years ago, my guy Morgan Cooper uploaded his fan trailer to YouTube, showing how he envisioned the Fresh Prince as a drama," Smith said on the announcement. "Now, here is the first full look at his retelling of the story that’s always been so close to my heart." There are a lot of similarities from Carlton's group of friends, to how Will dresses at school, but the drama has been exponentially expanded. The whole part of the "got in one little fight and my mom got scared" part of the story has been escalated and now it's part of why Will is there: he's in hiding.
