Gal Gadot has commented on reports that director Joss Whedon threatened her career during Justice League reshoots in 2017. The Wonder Woman star confirmed the story on the Israel TV show N12 News.
During the interview, N12 News reporter Yuna Leibzon asked Gadot about reports that her attempts to change the way Wonder Woman was portrayed in the film were blocked by Whedon. "He even said you should just be pretty and say your lines. You weren't going to let him get away with it," Leibzon said.
Gadot then confirmed that this had happened, and that she dealt with it right away. "What I had with Joss basically is that he kind of threatened my career and said if I did something he would make my career miserable," she said. "I handled it on the spot."
